I
GET EMAILS FROM OWNERS ASKING ME WHAT I THINK THEIR SLED IS WORTH.
THE WORTH OF A SLED DEPENDS ON MANY FACTORS SUCH AS -
APPEARANCE
- CONDITION - MILEAGE - ACCIDENTED - IS THE MOTOR STUCK - TRACK CONDITION
- RARE MODEL - STORED OUTSIDE / INSIDE - ORIGINAL - HAVING TRANSFER
PAPERS AND SO ON.
I CREATED THESE PAGES TO GIVE BUYERS AND SELLERS A LOOK AT SLEDS THAT HAVE RECENTLY SOLD ON EBAY WITH THEIR DESCRIPTION. THIS IS NOT TO BE USED AS AN ACCURATE PRICE LIST OF A SLEDS WORTH BUT AS A GUIDE TO SHOW YOU WHAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SELL OR BUY A SLED FOR ON EBAY. JUST
REMEMBER - SOMETIMES ON EBAY - 2 BIDDERS DRIVE A SLED'S PRICE WAY UP OVER
THE TRUE VALUE BECAUSE THEY BOTH WANT IT AND THEN SOMETIMES A SLED CAN
SELL ON EBAY FOR A LOT LESS THAN
THIS
GUIDE IS IN NO WAY INTENDED TO TELL YOU THE WORTH OF A SLED. AFTER
ALL A SLED IS WORTH ONLY WHAT THE BUYER IS WILLING TO PAY FOR IT.
I AM POSTING THIS GUIDE AS A SERVICE AND NOTHING ELSE.
I
DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE YEAR POSTED WITH THE SNOWMOBILE.

1965
Arctic Cat model 120 "Tom Cat". I believe this was the third year
that Arctic Cat produced them. The over-all condition is good to good plus.
For the most part the sled is complete and can easily be restored.
The frame is solid and has only minor surface rust. Everything on it appears
to be original except the seat. It comes with an 8 horse Kohler cast
iron engine, steel track (not attached) fiberglass hood with original windshield
and a two speed transmission with reverse. A few of the flaws are:
The front lights are gone, there is a 6" crack on the front of the hood,
the track is off and the weld on the rear piece is broken loose. The serial
number on the metal tag is 517-1885.

A DONATION OF $ 5 OR $ 10 GOES A LONG WAY. ANY CONTRIBUTION IS GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANKS - DAVID |
