UPDATE:
Dear David - . It is with our regrets to inform you that the
Selby Snowmobile and ATV Show for 2008 will need to be postponed
until September 12th and 13th  2009.

Dear David - The rumors are true!  The new Vintage Snowmobile Auction  you’ve heard so much about will be premiering at the Selby Snowmobile & ATV Show this year.  And you’re invited to join us for this amazing new venue for Antique Snowmobile Collectors!

At the show you will see the latest in snowmobile technology, gear, clothing, accessories, performance products, trailers and equipment for the upcoming season. As well, the largest vintage snowmobile flee market, shine and show and of course the Collector’s Vintage Snowmobile Auction.

This event will be held  September 12th and 13th 2009. at The Selby Auction Arena, in Selby Ontario, only 5 mins. north of  Napanee on Highway 41. There is 23,160 square feet of outdoor booth areas reserved solely for Vintage Snowmobiles, and 14,500 square feet for manufactures and dealership displays.

The show is primarily for Vintage Snowmobiles, but as we are all aware, having the present day sleds and accessories is what attracts larger crowds. Our plan is to use this attraction to our advantage. The trick is to out shine the new sleds by putting on the largest collection of restored sleds ever seen. This is where you can help. We would like you to display your restored sleds .It costs $10.00 for each entry, not per sled, so one person is charged ten dollars to participate but can bring as many sleds as they want. Each person receives a two day pass to the show and five dollars goes to the prize purse to be divided into cash prizes. Additional weekend passes will only cost five dollars which is half the gate price.

On the Sunday there is a Vintage Snowmobile auction, at CTVSA we hope for this to become as popular as the Barrett Jackson  Car Auction. This is the perfect venue to find or sell those rare sleds. If you wish to register a sled in the auction let us know and we will forward you all the needed information.

We also have vendor sites available, each  site is 225 square feet, that is a 15 by 15 foot area which offers plenty of space to set up, two areas together gives  450 square feet with  30 feet of  a spectacular presentation to lure the public’s attention. As a promotion offer for our premier of the show you can purchase each 15 x 15 foot booth area, and two weekend passes for $50.00. This is offered to you by special invitation from the Classic Tracks Vintage Snowmobile Association and  because there are many invitations being sent out the sites will sell fast so you should contact us immediately to reserve the sites you want before they are sold. We also extend that you can invite other vendors you are friends with to purchase a site next to yours to promote a weekend of camaraderie. Camping on the site is permitted and welcomed.  Also, Masterson’s Motel has sponsored the show with 22% off all room rates for show participants. Just off  of Hwy. 401 in Napanee, Masterson’s Motel is only 5 mins.  from the Show site and is highly recommended by CTVSA.

We would like to ask you to copy this letter and forward to
all the ACSCC members, so they too have a chance to join us.

Please do not hesitate to contact me for any further information and I look forward to seeing you at the show.

Sincerely, David Wilson
Special Events Coordinator
