WHAT IS YOUR SLED WORTH? PAGE 169
I GET EMAILS FROM OWNERS ASKING ME WHAT I THINK THEIR SLED IS WORTH.  THE WORTH OF A SLED DEPENDS ON MANY FACTORS SUCH AS - APPEARANCE - CONDITION - MILEAGE - ACCIDENTED - IS THE MOTOR STUCK - TRACK CONDITION - RARE MODEL - STORED OUTSIDE / INSIDE -  ORIGINAL - HAVING TRANSFER PAPERS AND SO ON.

I CREATED THESE PAGES TO GIVE BUYERS AND SELLERS A LOOK AT SLEDS THAT HAVE RECENTLY SOLD ON EBAY WITH THEIR DESCRIPTION. THIS IS NOT TO BE USED AS AN ACCURATE PRICE LIST OF A SLEDS WORTH BUT AS A GUIDE TO SHOW YOU WHAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SELL OR BUY A SLED FOR ON EBAY.

JUST REMEMBER - SOMETIMES ON EBAY - 2 BIDDERS DRIVE A SLED'S PRICE WAY UP OVER THE TRUE VALUE BECAUSE THEY BOTH WANT IT AND THEN SOMETIMES A SLED CAN SELL ON EBAY FOR A LOT LESS THAN
TRUE VALUE BECAUSE OF THE TIME OF YEAR IT WAS POSTED OR THE WAY THE PERSON POSTED THE AD.

THIS GUIDE IS IN NO WAY INTENDED TO TELL YOU THE WORTH OF A SLED.  AFTER ALL  A SLED IS WORTH ONLY WHAT THE BUYER IS WILLING TO PAY FOR IT. I AM POSTING THIS GUIDE AS A SERVICE AND NOTHING ELSE.
I CANNOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE PRICE YOU BUY OR SELL YOUR SLED AT. THAT IS TOTALLY
YOUR DECISION.  GOOD LUCK.

I DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE YEAR POSTED WITH THE SNOWMOBILE.
SOMETIMES - PEOPLE POST THE WRONG YEAR.

HERE IS HOW THIS AD READ ON EBAY.

The last time I saw a Viking on E-bay it was two years ago and this is that very one. Although it did not look like it does now. :) The machine was completely disassembled and rebuilt. The old track is gone and there is a brand new Poly track in its place. The drives and idlers were replaced. The bogies replaced. All good to go. Nothing has been painted on this machine. Nothing.

Let's talk about the seat. This is a brand new custom made seat copied from an original Viking seat to exacting detail by Master Craftsman Ed Duncan of Duncan Specialties. It is awsome! A new windshield was aquired from a fellow in Twin Valley MN that used to work at the plant where this sled was made. That is a brand new snow flap that you see.

The rest of the sled is pretty much original. The bumpers are very nice and the chrome is in good shape. The are some scratches here and there but this is not a restored machine. The lights all work. New drive shaft bearings were put in last winter. Fuel system serviced and it was test driven. It has not been driven since last winter.

The Kohler single has 136 psi compression and good spark. Recoil work good. Fuel tank cleaned. New lines and filter. New primer button installed.

Nothing is missing and it looks great.

A clear title goes with it and a NOS Owners Manual. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
