Welcome to Antique Snowmobile Sales!

We specialize in parts, both "new old stock" (NOS) and used, as well
as sled restorations (mostly Ski Doo) from the early 60’s to 1970.

For us, it all started back in 1968 when we bought our first “bubble nose”. It was a used Super
Olympique with a 299 Rotax. Sleds from the 60s’ bring back great memories and we are trying to help the growing number of enthusiasts get as many back on the trail as possible. 

Some of the early ones are more collector’s items than runners and may never see the snow. Others are used regularly. Which ever is the case, we can assist with parts, restorations and sources. We have shipped parts all over the world and have made many a road trip to help get a sled to someone. We strip many machines each year that have frames rusted beyond repair but have salvageable parts. The ones that are restorable go on the “to do” list and through the restoration process.

Hi David,  I don't know if you remember me off-hand, but I emailed you about Wheel Horse snowmobiles in the past. 

I've set up my own yahoo geocites site.  It's about Wheel Horse in general, but I've included four pages so far about the snowmobiles, and hope to add more.  I am hoping that maybe with your audience you could help me gather more information. 

So far I have the 1970 Owners and Parts manuals, the 1972 Parts manual supplement, and a couple of brouchures. (Which are on my site)  I've scanned the manuals, if anyone would like a copy of the manuals, they can contact me through the website, and I'd be happy to email it. 

They take up too much space to make available for download on a free site if you
know what I mean.  If you could include me in you list of links, I'd appreciate it.

Annual Vintage Snowmobile Show and Snow Show

Last year we had great weather, and a tremendous crowd came out! Vintage sleds and Vendor displays were all neatly parked on the Golf Course Driving Range. We raised a good amount of money which was donated to Mercy Flight. They flew in for a visit during the show, and everyone was able to walk right up and look in the helicopter and talk with the crew!

POLARIS SNO-TRAVELER SITE

I was twelve years old when my father gave me my first snowmobile. He had upgraded to a
newer faster machine back in 1972. Rebuilding the 1962 Polaris Sno-Traveler was a labor of
love, I couldn't wait for snow in the winter of 72-73. That first winter was a snowy one for us
in the north east, and I rode the old sled from sunrise well into dark most days.
