personal observations. The 41st was a blast!!! The quality and quantity
of vintage race sleds were outstanding. The weather was very cold
and mostly sunny. Overnight lows were brutal. The free air's percolated
in the -18C daytime high Saturday. Sunday was a little warmer but the track
got a lot rougher. The Champ sleds really chewed up the track and hit speeds
as high as 108mph! All the drivers had transponders this year and printouts
of every race where available showing lap times and average speeds as well
as finishing order. Fourteen Early Model sleds scrambled for the ten spots
available in the Early Model 440 Classic Cup Final. Mark Nernberg Special thank's
