1969 CHAPARRAL -  SNO BIRDIE 300

David,

I have visited your site a couple of times and figured I'd try and contribute something.  I am attaching pictures of sleds that I either have or have had with the exception of the 1969 Snow-Birdie 300 (a.k.a. Chaparral) that picture was provided by the seller, unfortunately I wasn't the buyer:-(   Hope they are of interest.

What they are:
1970 Chaparral Executive - 493 Hirth
1971 Chaparral Executive - 634 Hirth Elec. Start
1973 Arctic Cat El Tigre - 440 Kawasaki Free Air (recently sold)
1972/73 Chaparral Firebird - 400 Fuji

I was quite lucky to find such well kept examples.  I did
need to do considerable cleaning and polishing, but the Arctic Cat and
the '70 and '71 Chaparrals are all original sleds.
Tim Holm, Minneapolis, MN

p.s. By the way, the sleds were purchased from a private party in
Fresno, California of all places!!

Great site!!
THANKS TIM FOR THESE GREAT PICTURES!
