I basically took the frame and some of the components from the 293 triple of the previous year. The frame was shortened about 10" or so. Instead of using the heavy 114" cleated track, I used a "Gates" 103 " internal drive type. The large hole located just below the gas tank was part of a design to install the drive shaft further back but I opted to the normal setup.
