DECEMBER 24 - 2006 CARL HEALY SENT ME SOME GREAT PICTURES THAT I'M SURE YOU WILL ENJOY. Standing behind my third grass racer built for the 1976 season. The guy with the "76" is Denis Lamadeleine. He was the guy who raced my little 294 GR, because it had a tendency to flip every time I was on it. He also had the advantage over the competition by weighing 50 lbs less than me. This little machine's weight was 186 lbs. Just about any unnecessary material was drilled, trimmed or shaved away to cut down the weight. You may notice that the chain case cover is basically it. Just a cover. Instead of the regular 1/8 thick cover it was milled down to just a 1/16" and the back top part was cut away. The chains didn't last long though. Carl Healy - Dawson Creek, BC - Canada ----- This place is the mile 0 of the Alaska Highway. THANKS CARL FOR THE GREAT PICTURE! |
