| Hi
Dave - Well after 10 years I finally got my 1969 Johnson Challenger
done. Here are some pictures taken on its maiden voyage It has a 372cc
JLO single cylinder engine that is original and never been torn down but
still runs like new. My dad bought this sled in 1970 and sold it in 1979,I
tracked it down and bought it back in 1995.
I am also sending photos of my other sleds; a 1974 John Deere JDX6 and a 1978 Kawasaki Invader 440. The JDX6 and the Invader will be going on Ebay soon, but I would be willing to trade both for a restorable 1970 Moto-ski Capri in complete and restorable shape. Ron Sorenson - Longmont, Colorado If anyone is interested my E-mail is RONALDTSORENSON@msn.com THANKS RON FOR THE GREAT PICTURES! The pictures of the Challenger were taken at Cameron Pass in the northern Colorado Rockies, about 20 miles from Waldon, Colorado, at approx. 10,000 feet above sea level. It didn’t perform quite as good as it did in Wisconsin because of the altitude, but it was a BLAST to get out and ride it again! - Thanks again - Ron Sorenson |
