What a Great Picture!
Thanks to Katelyn's grandfather for sending me this picture!

Sno Pony on left - Ski Pony on right.
Thanks Ronald Gannett for these Great Pictures of these sleds!

It's all started when Sno-Pony made by Couparal went bankrupt in late 1970.

Couparal's inventory's was purchased by Simcraft Inc of Québec, Canada which was a Sno-Pony distributor for the province of Québec.

Simcraft set up an assembly plant in St-Agapit, Québec to form
"Sno-Pony Snowmobile Ltd  "  but in the same period the founder of the defunct Couparal bought back the Sno-Pony production rights to rename his company
Sports Power.

Simcraft, as it didn't want to be in conflict, changed their name to
Ski-Pony Snowmobile Ltd.

So as the Sno-Pony and Ski-Pony are brothers, they also have a lots of  little cousins since Couparal also made the Snow-Flake, Wolverine and Snow-Cat
( lots of potential parts ).

The Sno-Ponys engines were Chrysler,  Solo, Sachs and McCulloch but I don't know about the Ski-Ponys, probably one or two of the above.

The Sno-Pony was produced between 1969-71 and the Ski-Pony, not sure but probably in 1971 and 72, probably not in 73.

Thanks Claude Gendron for the history on these sleds!
