1972 NORTHWAY EXPLORER W440
This sled was picked up in Massachusetts in January 2005. It ran when i got it but needed a good face lift and since this sled will double as a show sled and rider for some of the old sled meets it will have to be mechanically sound as well. A close look at this sled tells me that it has not had a lot of use but that someone took a good spill on it once upon a time. As a result the cab is broken and full of cracks and gelcoat hazing. The front bumper is bent and so is the right ski and ski leg. The windshield is cracked and the handlebars are bent and broken on the right side where someone has welded them. But on the other hand most of this sled is all there and it appears to have been stored away for many years and it should be a fairly easy job to get this sled looking and running great. Andrew
