WHAT IS YOUR SLED WORTH? PAGE 114
I GET EMAILS FROM OWNERS ASKING ME WHAT I THINK THEIR SLED IS WORTH.  THE WORTH OF A SLED DEPENDS ON MANY FACTORS SUCH AS - APPEARANCE - CONDITION - MILEAGE - ACCIDENTED - IS THE MOTOR STUCK - TRACK CONDITION - RARE MODEL - STORED OUTSIDE / INSIDE -  ORIGINAL - HAVING TRANSFER PAPERS AND SO ON.

I CREATED THESE PAGES TO GIVE BUYERS AND SELLERS A LOOK AT SLEDS THAT HAVE RECENTLY SOLD ON EBAY WITH THEIR DESCRIPTION. THIS IS NOT TO BE USED AS AN ACCURATE PRICE LIST OF A SLEDS WORTH BUT AS A GUIDE TO SHOW YOU WHAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SELL OR BUY A SLED FOR ON EBAY.

JUST REMEMBER - SOMETIMES ON EBAY - 2 BIDDERS DRIVE A SLED'S PRICE WAY UP OVER THE TRUE VALUE BECAUSE THEY BOTH WANT IT AND THEN SOMETIMES A SLED CAN SELL ON EBAY FOR A LOT LESS THAN
TRUE VALUE BECAUSE OF THE TIME OF YEAR IT WAS POSTED OR THE WAY THE PERSON POSTED THE AD.

THIS GUIDE IS IN NO WAY INTENDED TO TELL YOU THE WORTH OF A SLED.  AFTER ALL  A SLED IS WORTH ONLY WHAT THE BUYER IS WILLING TO PAY FOR IT. I AM POSTING THIS GUIDE AS A SERVICE AND NOTHING ELSE.
I CANNOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE PRICE YOU BUY OR SELL YOUR SLED AT. THAT IS TOTALLY
YOUR DECISION.  GOOD LUCK.

I DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE YEAR POSTED WITH THE SNOWMOBILE.
SOMETIMES - PEOPLE POST THE WRONG YEAR.

Very Rare 1970 scorpion Stinger, With the 400 conversion kit, This looks to have been done at the factory when it was built, there is no hole for the stock muffler, not many of these around, I have seen only one other. Sled is in original shape except for the running boards were sanded and painted at one time. Some surface rust mostly up under the front, note dent in gas tank, easily fixable , not a sharp dent!. The seat is near perfect one small repair on the rt. front corner, 2 inch crack ( not through yet ) in front of the tool box, zipper works good. track is good as are boogies and drive sprockets look good. This is a running sled, The Sachs 400 was rebuilt with new bearings, seals, honed and new Ring 2 years ago. I had this sled up at the scorpion show last winter. Very Loud and Proud machine. Probly a 7 or so on a scaled of one to 10. very nice restoration Project or Just ride It !!!!. Please ask questions email or call Scott 320 224 6169. You can hear it run! This is a very fast grass drag sled, I raced one like it with a stock muffler and lost 1 race out of probly 20. 43 to 50 mph 500 feet.

I noticed today that I did not get a picture of the left side if the bumper, there is a dent on the left side, Also Crack in the hood on the rt.side above the rewind, can be seen in the picture. I want to be sure to offer the sled as it is. The more I look it over the better it looks, you will love it !!!!!! Merry Christmas.
