WHAT IS YOUR SLED WORTH? PAGE 25
I GET LETTERS EVERY OTHER DAY FROM PEOPLE TELLING ME THEY HAVE A SLED FOR SALE AND ASKING ME WHAT I THINK IT IS WORTH.  THE WORTH OF A SLED DEPENDS ON MANY FACTORS SUCH AS - APPEARANCE - CONDITION - MILEAGE - ACCIDENTED - IS THE MOTOR STUCK - TRACK CONDITION - RARE MODEL - HAS IT BEEN STORED OUTSIDE OR INSIDE - IS IT ALL ORIGINAL - BUYING FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNER AND HAVING TRANSFER PAPERS AND SO ON. I AM CREATING THESE PAGES TO GIVE BUYERS AND SELLERS A LOOK AT SLEDS THAT HAVE RECENTLY SOLD ON EBAY WITH THEIR DESCRIPTION SO YOU CAN COMPARE. THIS IS NOT TO BE USED AS AN ACCURATE PRICE LIST OF A SLEDS WORTH BUT AS A GUIDE TO SHOW YOU WHAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SELL OR BUY A SLED FOR ON EBAY. JUST REMEMBER - SOMETIMES ON EBAY - 2 BIDDERS DRIVE A SLED'S PRICE WAY UP OVER THE TRUE VALUE BECAUSE THEY BOTH WANT IT AND THEN SOMETIMES A SLED CAN SELL ON EBAY FOR A LOT LESS THAN TRUE VALUE BECAUSE OF THE TIME OF YEAR IT WAS POSTED OR THE WAY THE PERSON POSTED THE AD ON EBAY. I DO NOT KNOW THE TRUE VALUE OF SNOWMOBILES AND THIS GUIDE IS IN NO WAY INTENDED TO TELL YOU THE WORTH OF A SLED.  AFTER ALL  A SLED IS WORTH ONLY WHAT THE BUYER IS WILLING TO PAY FOR IT. I AM POSTING THIS GUIDE AS A SERVICE AND NOTHING ELSE. I CANNOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE PRICE YOU BUY OR SELL YOUR SLED AT.   THAT IS TOTALLY YOUR DECISION.  GOOD LUCK.
I WILL BE ADDING NEW SLEDS AS THEY SELL ON EBAY!
I DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE YEAR POSTED WITH
THE SNOWMOBILE.  SOMETIMES - PEOPLE POST THE WRONG YEAR.

1960's Hus-Ski snowmoblile made by Bolens. I am relisting this item after it was not sold in a sale in November. The machine is in prime shape and runs perfect. I had originally purchased the machine because I remember riding on one when I was a kid. Since I have owned it I have riden it only a couple times. The former owner of this machine kept it inside at all times,as do I, and took perfect care of each and every part. I recently put a new carborator kit in to it since the old gaskets were drying out. The engine is tight with no worn bearings or loose parts. It usually starts on the first or second pull. Its a great machine and lots of fun )

HARLEY DAVIDSON - early 70’s with electric start. Last time it was ridden was about 6 years ago. Took the fuel tank out to start restoration and never finished. The motor took right off (a week ago) with a squirt of gas in the carb, but does need to be cleaned. The sled is in good condition overall. The two things that are wrong with it are the recoil is broken (but electric start works great) and the taillight has been taken off.. The sled comes with two hoods (one has never been on the sled), one service manual, one blue windshield.
