WHAT IS YOUR SLED WORTH? PAGE 2
I GET LETTERS EVERY OTHER DAY FROM PEOPLE TELLING ME THEY HAVE A SLED FOR SALE AND ASKING ME WHAT I THINK IT IS WORTH.  THE WORTH OF A SLED DEPENDS ON MANY FACTORS SUCH AS -  APPEARANCE - CONDITION - MILEAGE - ACCIDENTED - IS THE MOTOR STUCK - TRACK CONDITION - RARE MODEL - HAS IT BEEN STORED OUTSIDE OR INSIDE - IS IT ALL ORIGINAL - BUYING FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNER AND HAVING TRANSFER PAPERS AND SO ON. I AM CREATING THESE PAGES TO GIVE BUYERS AND SELLERS A LOOK AT SLEDS THAT HAVE RECENTLY SOLD ON EBAY WITH THEIR DESCRIPTION SO YOU CAN COMPARE.
THIS IS NOT TO BE USED AS AN ACCURATE PRICE LIST OF A SLEDS WORTH BUT AS
A GUIDE TO SHOW YOU WHAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SELL OR BUY A SLED FOR ON EBAY.  JUST REMEMBER - SOMETIMES ON EBAY - 2 BIDDERS DRIVE A SLED'S PRICE WAY UP OVER THE TRUE VALUE BECAUSE THEY BOTH WANT IT AND THEN SOMETIMES A SLED CAN SELL ON EBAY FOR A LOT LESS THAN TRUE VALUE BECAUSE OF THE TIME OF YEAR IT WAS POSTED OR THE WAY THE PERSON POSTED THE AD ON EBAY.  I DO NOT KNOW THE TRUE VALUE OF SNOWMOBILES AND THIS GUIDE IS IN NO WAY INTENDED TO TELL YOU THE WORTH OF A SLED.  AFTER ALL
A SLED IS WORTH ONLY WHAT THE BUYER IS WILLING TO PAY FOR IT.
I AM POSTING THIS GUIDE AS A SERVICE AND NOTHING ELSE. I CANNOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE PRICE YOU BUY OR SELL YOUR SLED AT.
THAT IS TOTALLY YOUR DECISION.  GOOD LUCK.
I WILL BE ADDING NEW SLEDS
AS THEY SELL ON EBAY!
I DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE YEAR POSTED WITH
THE SNOWMOBILE.  SOMETIMES - PEOPLE POST THE WRONG YEAR.
One previous owner , always garaged and covered and absolutely as far as I can tell , totally original , 1968 Johnson Skee Horse .Original paint , original fiberglass , original upholstery , original decals . Never hit , never dumped , no bodywork , always pampered and ridden easily. As an added bonus what must be an extremely rare and neat original factory accessory , the tow along sleigh or if you will "caboose" for the kids , also totally original and excellent .In addition , it also has a good used single trailer of the same vintage that was bought new with it , not as nice condition as the sled because it sat outside , but quite usable .Also , the original factory canvas cover also excellent for the age . I have just accquired this sled and have not even tried to start it though it turns over easily and I was told by the original owner that it has very low hours which shows by the condition and was driven right before it was stored. It will need a new battery , the gas tank was drained for storage , the belt has been replaced and the tread looks good . In general , the whole unit needs a good cleaning but overall , once again , it is really in nice condition for the age .This sled should definitely be in the hands of a collector who has an appreciation for this vintage vehicle and its originality.

1973 Raider Twin Track Snowmobile Exc Cond!!!
Up for auction is my pride and joy 73 Raider 34 TT Twin Track in Excellent Condition. You don't find many items this old in this nice a shape. This baby has spent many years inside under warm storage. The previous owner had it in a heated factory! It seems to be original and not restored. It is in unbelievable shape with minor scratches and dings. This machine has been well cared for.
I also have parts manuals and literature that will go with the machine. I also have the email of a lady who makes covers, seat covers, and apparel for Raiders.
I believe that the engine is a 400cc Canadian Curtis Wright. (CCW). It has electric start (dead battery) and a factory tachometer.
