WHAT IS YOUR SLED WORTH? PAGE 18
I GET LETTERS EVERY OTHER DAY FROM PEOPLE TELLING ME THEY HAVE A SLED FOR SALE AND ASKING ME WHAT I THINK IT IS WORTH.  THE WORTH OF A SLED DEPENDS ON MANY FACTORS SUCH AS - APPEARANCE - CONDITION - MILEAGE - ACCIDENTED - IS THE MOTOR STUCK - TRACK CONDITION - RARE MODEL - HAS IT BEEN STORED OUTSIDE OR INSIDE - IS IT ALL ORIGINAL - BUYING FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNER AND HAVING TRANSFER PAPERS AND SO ON. I AM CREATING THESE PAGES TO GIVE BUYERS AND SELLERS A LOOK AT SLEDS THAT HAVE RECENTLY SOLD ON EBAY WITH THEIR DESCRIPTION SO YOU CAN COMPARE. THIS IS NOT TO BE USED AS AN ACCURATE PRICE LIST OF A SLEDS WORTH BUT AS A GUIDE TO SHOW YOU WHAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SELL OR BUY A SLED FOR ON EBAY. JUST REMEMBER - SOMETIMES ON EBAY - 2 BIDDERS DRIVE A SLED'S PRICE WAY UP OVER THE TRUE VALUE BECAUSE THEY BOTH WANT IT AND THEN SOMETIMES A SLED CAN SELL ON EBAY FOR A LOT LESS THAN TRUE VALUE BECAUSE OF THE TIME OF YEAR IT WAS POSTED OR THE WAY THE PERSON POSTED THE AD ON EBAY. I DO NOT KNOW THE TRUE VALUE OF SNOWMOBILES AND THIS GUIDE IS IN NO WAY INTENDED TO TELL YOU THE WORTH OF A SLED.  AFTER ALL  A SLED IS WORTH ONLY WHAT THE BUYER IS WILLING TO PAY FOR IT. I AM POSTING THIS GUIDE AS A SERVICE AND NOTHING ELSE. I CANNOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE PRICE YOU BUY OR SELL YOUR SLED AT.   THAT IS TOTALLY YOUR DECISION.  GOOD LUCK.
I WILL BE ADDING NEW SLEDS AS THEY SELL ON EBAY!
I DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE YEAR POSTED WITH
THE SNOWMOBILE.  SOMETIMES - PEOPLE POST THE WRONG YEAR.

1971 Moto-Ski 338 Snowmobile with electric start. It starts right up on the first turn and runs very well. It would be a great starter snowmobile for someone, or an excellent candidate for restoration of a classic snowmobile. It is in very good condition for it's age, and has only
1900 miles.

unrestored 1970 Polaris TX Colt with a 634 Hirth motor. This is one of 3 TX Colt models available in 1970, the others were equipped with either the 398 or the 792 Polaris engine, today it is almost impossible to find any 70' TX Colt, regardless of the engine size. This sled hasn't been run in many years but turns over freely and does have spark.
