WHAT IS YOUR SLED WORTH? PAGE 10
I GET LETTERS EVERY OTHER DAY FROM PEOPLE TELLING ME THEY HAVE A SLED FOR SALE AND ASKING ME WHAT I THINK IT IS WORTH.  THE WORTH OF A SLED DEPENDS ON MANY FACTORS SUCH AS - APPEARANCE - CONDITION - MILEAGE - ACCIDENTED - IS THE MOTOR STUCK - TRACK CONDITION - RARE MODEL - HAS IT BEEN STORED OUTSIDE OR INSIDE - IS IT ALL ORIGINAL - BUYING FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNER AND HAVING TRANSFER PAPERS AND SO ON. I AM CREATING THESE PAGES TO GIVE BUYERS AND SELLERS A LOOK AT SLEDS THAT HAVE RECENTLY SOLD ON EBAY WITH THEIR DESCRIPTION SO YOU CAN COMPARE. THIS IS NOT TO BE USED AS AN ACCURATE PRICE LIST OF A SLEDS WORTH BUT AS A GUIDE TO SHOW YOU WHAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SELL OR BUY A SLED FOR ON EBAY. JUST REMEMBER - SOMETIMES ON EBAY - 2 BIDDERS DRIVE A SLED'S PRICE WAY UP OVER THE TRUE VALUE BECAUSE THEY BOTH WANT IT AND THEN SOMETIMES A SLED CAN SELL ON EBAY FOR A LOT LESS THAN TRUE VALUE BECAUSE OF THE TIME OF YEAR IT WAS POSTED OR THE WAY THE PERSON POSTED THE AD ON EBAY. I DO NOT KNOW THE TRUE VALUE OF SNOWMOBILES AND THIS GUIDE IS IN NO WAY INTENDED TO TELL YOU THE WORTH OF A SLED.  AFTER ALL  A SLED IS WORTH ONLY WHAT THE BUYER IS WILLING TO PAY FOR IT. I AM POSTING THIS GUIDE AS A SERVICE AND NOTHING ELSE. I CANNOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE PRICE YOU BUY OR SELL YOUR SLED AT.   THAT IS TOTALLY YOUR DECISION.  GOOD LUCK.
I WILL BE ADDING NEW SLEDS AS THEY SELL ON EBAY!
I DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE YEAR POSTED WITH
THE SNOWMOBILE.  SOMETIMES - PEOPLE POST THE WRONG YEAR.
This GP 338 is a runner! It may have some mis matched parts on it (all of which will be available individually if whole sled doesn't sell on auction) but its not bad cosmetically. The tunnel is a little rough but straight.  Nice bumpers!  Nice Seat!  Track looks good for its age. Restorable or use as a beater sled!

1963 rear-engine Polaris Sno-Traveller, Model L-60. I bought it from a person a few years ago that had started restoring it and couldn't find the time to finish. This was a nice original sled that has been repainted, with the exception of the motor and both fiberglass shrouds which retain their original paint. It is obvious that this sled has never been bent or rusted anywhere as there are no signs of repair and it is arrow straight and clean! The engine does run, however it hasn't been run in many years, the seat has been re-upholstered, the skiis are new, exact copies of the originals. I have all new cleats for the track but don't have any belting, also there is no windshield but the windshield frame is present. This sled needs only a minimal investment in money and time to become a trophy winning rear engine Polaris, so don't miss out on this opportunity to own this rare 1963 Model L-60 Polaris!
